I don't just photograph stormy weather, chickens and sheep. In my previous life I've photographed a wide variety of subjects from ships, vehicles and aircraft to people and buildings.
Scottish Sea Farms have an extensive network of salmon fisheries - this site is just off the coast of Eday. I have been asked to take some publicity images. I think they were knocking off early after a hard day feeding fish.
Transferring the young salmon to the Eday fishery nets were they will grow big and strong!
The Viktoria Viking is a well boat - the fish are transported in a well just aft (that's behind for those of a non-nautical disposition) of the main superstructure.
What more is there to say!
The fish are pumped up through a pipe transferred to either another site for growing on or (gulp) shipped to the processors.
